Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn (July 15, 1606 – October 4, 1669) was a Dutch painter. He is generally considered one of the greatest in European art history and the most important in Dutch history. His contributions to art came in a period that historians call the Dutch Golden Age.

Because Rembrandt never made any difference between wealth, origin or social status in his paintings, he has been appreciated and understood almost everywhere in the world. He was the only big master who signed his paintings with his first name.

We cherish the thoughts of Rembrandt, it does not matter if you are rich or poor we, we do not bother witch ever origin or social status you are from. Rembrandt café is there for everybody and so we would like to welcome you and thank you for coming.

The fact Rembrandt signed his masterpieces with his first name you will see reflected in the unofficial atmosphere we have in the Rembrandt cafe without losing the quality in which we will serve you .

As an honor to the Master himself we have put his most famous master piece on the wall for everybody to enjoy “The Night watch”.

In Rembrandt café you will find a reflection of how the master once was himself:
We achieve perfection…
We see and tread everybody the same…
We are from Holland but are open to any origin or social status…
We hope your stay in Rembrandt café will be pleasant and you will be back soon.

The Rembrandt café team.
